Im with Caitlin on this one. I think that the house should come alive again. It should be filled with the noises and smells and clutter that any normally functioning house would have. I am particularly interested in working in a parlor space. Im not sure if the villa had a traditional parlor room where families would entertain themselves before the invention of tv, but i would like to fill a space with objects that entertain or amuse. In terms of a larger gallery exhibitions i think we should create objects that the viewer could interact with physically. These objets could be historical reproductions, invented object or any combination, but they should all be interactive and informative. Perhaps we could divide the rooms into different themes or styles in order to set a scene.
